Saturday was Grandma Ellen's birthday. We went out to dinner to celebrate and thank her for all of her help. Our neighbor Dave babysat Gavin and Sydney went with us to dinner.
Sunday we woke up to snow, 3.5 inches. Aaron & Dave decided to try to top last year's snowman and spent the afternoon sculpting it. They used every bit of snow in our front yard. There were many people stopping by to take pictures with it and honking as they drove by.
Today we had a visit from a social worker to prepare for Gavin's first post-placement report that is due to Russia in March (6 months post adoption). It's hard to believe it's time for his first report (we also do a report at 1 year, 2 year, and 3 years post adoption).
I will also include a picture of Sydney at bath time that shows how her hair is curly like Grandma Ellen's when it's wet. But if her hair is as thick as mine the weight of it will pull the curls out.

Sydney sure looks older than 3 weeks. She looks like she is blowing bubbles like you had Gavin doing last June when you were in Russian. Good thing Aaron was holding Gavin in the picture or he would be dwarfed by the snowman. Boys will be boys!
Wow, what a snowman! And, the photo of Sydney is adorable! How is Gavin adjusting to the baby these days?
