Ok, I did it......I actually took both the kids to the grocery store. Gavin didn't go to Mother's Day Out on Monday this week because he was sick so I didn't get my day to run errands. I had Sydney in the Baby Bjorn carrier and Gavin in the shopping cart. I did get the looks or comments from people...like "wow you have your hands full". They both did good....other than Gavin grabbing a glass bottle off the shelf that I caught, and Sydney started to get a little fussy at the end.....but we did it. Now don't get me wrong, I was sweating by the end and I don't plan on making this a regular thing, but if we have to we can do it. The hardest part was taking all the groceries out of the cart to put on the checkout with her in the carrier. A nice young man with Down's Syndrome helped us out to the car. He pushed the cart and talked to Gavin and put the groceries in for us while I put the kids in their carseats. So that was our adventure for today. Now it's nap time for all of us!

Congratulations! It is nice to know you can do it if you have to, right!
Did you folks get any damage from the storm that went through last night and this morning?
Love,
Aunt Cecilia
i can imagine that it was an adventure! I still don't like to take Graysen and Graham to the store and they are going to be 11 and 7 years old!! You do have your hands full, but you accomplished a major ordeal!!
You must shop at the Hi Vee on State Line. That nice young man with Down Syndrome has helped us the same way...even after I declined his original offer. I haven't tried the carrier. I just keep her in the carrier but that fits horribly in the cart. I'll try your way next time.
