I hope everyone had a great mem. day wknd! We had a busy and fun weekend here! We went to the Great American BBQ on Saturday at the dogtracks that Aaron's buddies have a BBQ team at. There were lots of other 2-year-olds there (Aaron's fraternity brother's kiddos-currently the boys way out # the girls-I think they will have enough to fill the PIKE house in about 2024). Gavin got to ride a few rides, a merry-go-round and an airplane ride--he had a huge smile! Sunday we went to Crown Center to Jiggle Jam (a kids concert event) and Gavin got to run in the fountains there too. Then we went and met Grandma Pat and friends at Celebration at the Station and had a picnic and listened to the symphony and then Gavin saw his first fireworks (with Papa covering his ears). Today Grandma Pat and Whitney babysat for a few hours so we could get out and do some shopping then we went back and had dinner together with Aunt Angie and Uncle Mike too. I will post some video of Gavin in the fountains. There's a picture of Gavin with Jade-he kept wanting to sit on her lap-we think it may be his first crush.
Last memorial day we had gotten our referral for Gavin Victor and were awaiting some more information to decide if we were going to travel to Russia. The picture is dated December 2006 so we think he was 8 months old in this picture. Here is our referral picture of him.

Love the video of Gavin with the water. He has zero fear of water, even trying to get his head wet!! Sydney looks like she is growing so much, I'm sure she is getting to be more fun each day as she discovers new things. How is your baby and me-excercise program going? It is always more fun to excercise with friends!
What a cute surprise this morning to find your update. Sydney has sure grown and Gavin was really doing his stuff. He certainly isn't afraid of anything anymore is he. We can hardly wait to see them and get to play with them.
