Happy 3rd Birthday Gavin!

Gavin turns 3 today! I am hopeful that this year he is going to mature and be the sweet charming boy that we know he can be right!?!!?!? At his 3 year checkup he was in the 70th percentile for height and 96th %ile for weight....the boy is solid. We celebrated last weekend with Grandma & Grandpa V., tonight we are going to the T-Rex restaurant......before the biggest snowstorm in 10 years arrives tomorrow, then Sunday we celebrate at Grandma Pat's. He took cupcakes to preschool yeasterday and more today to mother's day out. He is loving all the celebrating.

Grandma & Grandpa survived their week of babysitting while we went on a Caribean cruise with Aaron's family. They were worn out though by these two little ones. We had a great time on our trip and celebrated our 10th anniversary and Angie & Mike's 13th anniversary. It was nice to get away and relax....we both needed it! We had fun ziplining in Jamaica, swimming with stingrays and snorkeling in Grand Cayman, and going to the beach in Cozumel and Pricess Cays. And I got a new wedding ring in Cozumel because....yes, I lost my wedding last fall....I cannot keep track of anything with these two busy little ones. Sydney started walking all over the house while we were gone. I knew that would happen because she was so close before we left. She has even gotten better this week, not holding her hands over her head as much when she walks. Grandma & Grandpa took them to the Brookside St. Patty's Day parade and to the zoo and got to play outside a lot with the nice weather. We are grateful for Grandma Pat taking us on the trip and for Grandma & Grandpa V. for giving us a week long break from parenting!
