Long Time, No Blog....

So we haven't updated for awhile. We have had our house back up for sale for 2 weeks. We have had tons of showings and have had to get out of the house for hours at a time. So we've been to the farm, the zoo, as well as, Grandma Pat's house to nap, eat, etc. We had a 2nd showing last night and are waiting to see if we get an offer today. If we do, then we will be homeless b/c we have no idea where we're moving yet. Oh well, hopefully they won't want a fast close and we'll have some time to look. This weekend we are headed to Grandma Ellen & Grandpa Gary's house. Gavin is very excited to go on the airplane and to go swimming and to see the "cactus-ouch". We'll have to teach Sydney about the "cactus-ouch". Sydney has recently been practicing her voice and screaming, which I'm sure that she is going to do on the airplane and everyone will love us. And when she starts, Gavin thinks it's fun too. We were out to eat last weekend and they started it and we quickly finished eating and ran out the door....the restaurant people were laughing. Gavin got tubes in his ears last Friday, hopefully his last surgery for awhile. The surgery was quick and he did great. He finished up speech therapy this week and the therapist doesn't think he's going to need it in the fall, but will re-assess at that time. He is saying much longer sentences and has new words all the time. He just still has this "jibberish" when he wants to talk, but isn't sure what to say. Sydney is saying new words everyday, she points and says doggie and arf-arf. She is still imitating everything that Gavin does-good and bad, ugh. She also likes to instigate making her brother mad, oh no. They have had some cute moments of chasing each other around the house and giggling, putting diapers down the laundry shoot and giggling, and Gavin saying he wants to give his sister a hug or a kiss.....and this picture of them holding hands (briefly) on the couch.

Have fun on your airplane ride. Tell Grandma Ellen hello for me. That is great that they are beginning to play more together. You can tell the pictures when Gavin was coming out of his trans from his surgery. I hope your home sells fast. It is great to have a lot of traffic but a real pain for the seller. Their pictures are great.
