The summer heat has hit here and we've had fun in the sprinkler and managed to go to the pool a few times with our babysitter's help. We have one more week in our house we've been in for 7 years. We are packing everything into portable storage units because we haven't found a house yet. We will be piling in with Grandma Pat (and disturbing her peace) for a bit until we find something. Grandma Ellen arrives Monday to help us get packed and survive the crazy week ahead. A few weeks ago, we were at Grandma Pat's and had given the kids baths there. They had their PJ's on and we were getting ready to go. Then Sydney wandered back into the bathroom and slipped and fell on a tile stair. It was awful and we had to take her to the ER to get 4 stitches. Gavin wanted to wear a bandaid like her the whole week she had the stitches in. She is so busy and climbing everywhere right now that we have to constantly watch her. She keeps falling and bumping into things and everyday has a new scratch or bruise. Hopefully we can make it through the summer without any more trips to the ER!

The pictures are cute. I'm surprised that Sydney wasn't up dancing in the water too. It must of been too cold for her too. Have fun packing and we hope too that there are no more accidents.

How is Sydney doing? I love it that Gavin had to wear a bandaid, too. Hope you are surviving your move -- I've been thinking of you! Let me know if you ever need to unload your kids at our place for some playtime while you pack, etc.
