We have spent 4 out of 5 of the last weekends at the lake. We spent Labor Day with the Epp's & Grandma Pat at the condo. Gavin got to tube with all 3 of his cousins. We all went go carting and on bumper cars and Grandma Pat got in on the fun too since there are 5 grandkids and many of them needed a driver. Michael is still recovering from back surgury so opted out from being a driver. Gavin also got to stay up late to see the fireworks one more time! Sydney decided to not let anyone sleep Friday night, she was up from 2-6am. She's been working on getting all 4 of her eye teeth and has been waking from time to time....but she was particularly difficult this night. It was aunt Angela that finally got her back to sleep from 6-8am, but then she couldn't put her down for fear of her waking. Sydney had her 18 month check up last month. She is in the 30th %ile for height and 49th %ile for weight......I haven't looked back but I think she has continued to fall on the charts for height...poor Syd is not going to get her father's height. In other news, we are going to be staying with Grandma Pat for awhile longer. Aaron has not been happy at his job and decided it was time to look for another one. He wouldn't have had time to look for a job while still there. He was working every waking minute practically and found it hard to even have time to spend with family. Hopefully a new opportunity will come his way soon and allow him more work/life balance.

Wow, your family has some dance moves! It looks like you have been having lots of fun at the lake this summer. I'm sorry to hear about Aaron's job situation, but how fortunate that you are in a position (no mortgage!) to step away and do something about it. We will keep him in our prayers as he looks for his next opportunity.
Looks like everyone was having a good time. Gavin looks like he is getting along well with Angie's boys too. To bad Sydney is cutting teeth in this hot weather which will be over soon. You are in our prayers.
