Last weekend we took a road trip to Bloomington, IL for my Grandpa Oscar's 90th birthday party. We had a great time visiting family, some that had never met the kids. The kids enjoyed staying in a hotel with a pool too. They did surprisingly well in the car. We also got to visit Cassie, our former dog, that my Uncle Randy so graciously inherited so that we could cut down on the chaos of having two small children. Friday night we went to Uncle Marv and Aunt Peggy's out in the country. All 7 of the great-grandchildren had never been together (Garrett, Carson, Micah, Graysen, Graham, Gavin, and Sydney). They had a great time riding in this old car. They also had an easter egg hunt. Saturday was Grandpa's party. We got pictures with the 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with Grandpa. Grandpa had a big turn out at the party and had a good time. At 90, he's still traveling on an airplane to Arizona and playing golf once a week, not bad! Saturday night we visited family on my mom's side: Aunt Janet & Uncle Randy, my cousins Debbie/Rick, Pam/Tim, Brian, and Jim/Karen. They got to see just how energetic our kiddos are and did a great job wearing them out for us!
Gavin has been funny this week, saying let's go to Illinois! He has been pretending to gas up his bike, jeep, even Sydney's stroller.....too funny! Sydney has woken up from nap saying, "where's Graysen and where's Uncle Randy"? They learned lots of new names on this trip. Here's a few pics from our trip.

Thanks for sharing all the pictures. It looks like a fun time was had by all. Aunt Janet told me how Cassie would cry for Gavin and Sydney Friday and Saturday after they left. Did you think she had gained a little weight!
